From toilets to polar display caves, some pretty bizarre dinning have opened in Taiwan recently.

Restauranteurs have been constantly coming up with innovative ways to attract customers in Taiwan's supremely competitive dining-out market. Now, much hotels are getting in on the fighting.

For some of these places, it's proving to be to be not only great fun, but useful business.

Steven Wu's Red Little Hotel in Taichung city shows a slide - a $150, 500 (£97, 000) stainless steel one and that's 27m long and twirls coming from the second floor to the lobby.
